Hello,

First I want to congratulate you for your great work.
I was looking your Flickr pictures about U-181 and I noticed that Leopold Scheba and Röhling Uwe awarded the U-boat war badge after only one patrol and not after two war patrols as usual.
According to his personal papers Röhling Uwe made 2 patrols with U-181 (16 Mar-8 Aug 1944 & 19 Oct 1944 -5 Jan 1945) and awarded the U-boat Badge on 14 Aug 1944. Leopold Scheba took part in 3 war patrols (23 Mar-14 Oct 1943, 16 Mar-8 Aug 1944 & 19 Oct 1944 -5 Jan 1945) and awarded the U-boat Badge on 15 Oct 1943. Also Dietrich Hille awarded the U-boat Badge after one patrol – the trip to Penang.

Any idea why this "discrimination"

Thanks in advance

PS: Keep up the good work.
