Larry,

The 4 crewmen were rescued by U 30 as you state. From the KTB - The DO-18 was not able to be towed and was sunk by artillery fire on the 29th. Shortly after the 4 men were brought aboard, a fishing trwler showed up. It was not stated in the KTB whether the 4 crewmen were transferred to the trawler.
