Dear Craftsman,

Three U-Boats crossed the Atlantic from the UK with American crews in 1945.

First, U-2513 and U-3008 in August (in company).

Second, U-1105 in December (on its own).

All three transits were made on the surface, and your mention of the storm suggests that the one you are looking for is U-1105.
