Ekkerhard Scherraus is list as the 2WO on U-507 for the first three patrols. I can fine no more information on him or dates that he would have sailed on these patrols.

He is listed as being the 1WO on U-107 from 11-1942 to 12-1942. He is listed as making no war patrols with U-107.

He is again listed on U-68 as the 1WO and made four war patrols with this boat. He departed Lorient on 3 Feb 1943 and returned to Lorient on 7 May 1943. He departed again from Lorient on 12 June 1943 and returned to Lorient on 16 June 1943. He departed again on the 14 Aug 1943 and returned to Lorient on 15 Aug 1943. He departed again from Lorient on 8 Sept 1943 and returned to Lorient on 23 Dec 1943.

He was listed as acting commander of U1225 from 5-15-1944 to 12-6-1944 and made no war patrols.

This get very interesting because U-1225 departed from Kristiansand on 20 June 1944 and was sank on the 24 June 1944 in the just off the Norway under the command of Ernst Sauerberg.

Dieter Mengen is listed as being on U-109 but could not fine any information about him on or if he went on any patrols with this boat.

He is listed again as being the 2WO on U-225. He is listed as making one patrol with this boat. He departed from Narvik on 14 July 1943 and returned to Narvik on 19Sept 1943.

It listed him as commander of U-2364 from 14 Feb 1945 to 19 Sept 1945 but listed no war patrol with this boat.
