<HTML>Isn\'t this interesting? I doubted myself after the correction regarding the numbers on the conning tower and went to check.I thought the info came from Turner\'s book, but was mistaken. It actually comes from Orpen and Martin\'s South Africa at War Vol. 7 on page 207. They mention that the Petty Officer from the Alcoa Pathfinder saw H47 also saying that it was the biggest submarine that he had ever seen. He then goes on to say that they thought that the boat was Japanese.

Could the Captain please let me have his source as I would like to compare notes.
