operation green Field Marshal Fedor Von Bock and the irish ..on dec 3 1940 the 3rd reich was waiting for ireland to call for help from the german people if britain attempted to take our ports ie cobh,loc swilly, kinsale,etc etc. name the only commenwealth country as given the name by the british that did not and never did declare war on germany ?? the irish saw this bullyboy tactic again by the british that inspired and fired the irish up to assist all german kriegsmarine,luftwaffe,vermach. again when growing up in ireland and our school history we are thought about our events that the irish have been accused of and what we have really done The most vile and treat from britain was that if we allow them and assisted them to defeat germany we would have a united ireland once and for all.. But we did not betray germany and all its military navy airforce men and women Thats why to this very day ireland is still divided ... now thats what we irish call loyalty... when after the 2nd world war germany Was reunited IS IRELAND UNITED ?? then you must ask yourself were we assisting germany during the war ??? only you can answer that
