Hello,
I am hoping somebody can help me locate additional information on the sinking of the neutral American freighter "Robin Moor" in May, 1941, by U69. In particular I am looking for the NARA microfilm with this boat's diaries: NARA T1022, roll 3031. The American Merchant Marine Museum is going to have a small exhibit starting in May, 2016 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the torpedoing of the first American merchant ship in World War II. We are now looking for the German side of the story, beyond the account given in Jost Metzler's book "Laughing Cow: The Story of U69."
Any information gratefully received.
Best regards,
-Josh.
