Torpedoes, how to ID the remains?

Hi,

Next week I'll receive the tail end of an old torpedo. Now I like to find out what kind of torpedo it was. Does anyone has some advice were to start?
From what I've seen I think is from a ww1 torpedo. It has 2 propellors and most of the material is brass. As soon as I have photos I'll post them.
