KM Militaria

<HTML>Is there anyone out there who has an interest in collecting militaria?
A few years ago, I was involved with a small group of living history/battle re enactment enthusiasts who chose to depict Kriegsmarine U boat crews.
We attended several public displays and received a fair amount of attention simply because we were the only KM people there.

While original KM uniforms & kit is beyond the pocket of most enthusiasts, we found a most acceptible alternative was to use Bundes marine outfits and East German pea jackets. The only modifications required were replica KM insignia - Nicholas Morigi is a good source - and it was possible to kit yourself out for under £50 all in.</HTML>
