Did this ship actually join convoy OB227?. OB227 sailed Liverpool 11.10.40 and dispersed on the 15th, while Thistlegarth, her last recorded OB convoy being OB144, sailed Scapa Flow on October 13th, to be sunk on the 15th. Convoyweb do not record her as being part of OB227, but list her last sailing from Scapa as being 'Un-recorded', but in Tennent's British Merchant Ship losses as her being part of OB228. John
