TRICULA dispersed from convoy E-6 (I updated our page about this ship today)

CRISTALES was in ON(S)-92 and DARTFORD was in ON(S)-100.

According to Tennent the TWEED was dispersed from OG-57, but her master reported that his ship had been dispersed from OG-55. However, he also stated that they left Liverpool on 11 March 1941 and the convoy was dispersed on 15 March. The sailing/dispersed date doesn't fit OG-55 but OB-296 so Hague is correct. It is possible that TWEED was originally scheduled to join OG-55, but did not sail and was ordered to leave with OB-296 instead.

The CALABRIA case is more complicated. At that time the SL convoys were sailed in two separate convoys. The slow one left Freetown first and the fast one caught up with the other en route to proceed to the UK together. I have to check which designation was used for the combined convoys.

U-107 fired a spread of 4 torpedoes from the bow tubes at 0131hrs, reloaded them and fired them all again at 0633hrs - two aimed at a tanker and one each at two freighters.

Best regards
