Hi John

The attack made by Catalina 333/C during the night of 17/18 May 1944 was already discussed in our forum: [uboat.net]

This took place too far from the area where U-240 was supposed to be and is now believed to have been made against U-241 which was sunk shortly thereafter by the Catalina 210/S.
