U-Deutchland, Baltimore 1916

It was 100 years ago that U-Deutschland (König) visited Baltimore; a local newsletter has commemorated the anniversary:
"German Sub visits Locust Point - July 10, 1916" in

"U-35 Hurra, Hurra, Hurra!" jubelten Besatzungsmitglieder als das Boot zum letzten mal von der Oberfläche der eiskalten Nordsee schlüpfte. (www.U-35.com)
