Many thanks for the suggestion. Nice try, and "a Happy Xmas to you too"!

Regrettably if I was to start a project to "correct" Wiki in respect of all the U-Boats that surrendered, I suspect I would still be at it next Xmas.

Rather, my point in highlighting Wiki's errors re U-570 was simply to emphasise the need to beware of accepting everything there as gospel.

Wiki has lots of very good information about U-Boats, but some of it is inaccurate, and this can mean that errors get inadvertently replicated - sometimes so much so that they become accepted as fact.

So, sorry, but I shall not be taking on a role as a Wiki-amender, though I would on occasions be happy to assist others to do so.

Finally, re my comment about HMS Graph's name, it comes originally from an Admiralty message timed at 0230A on 28 August 1941 which stated that the "Code word GRAPH is allotted for the [recovery] Operation".
