<HTML>Hello MPC,
I found a crew listing on the web for U-459 and as luck would have it there where no listings as to the names that I have. That leads me to believe that the u-boat was sunk earlier and this could be the date they signed it. Don\'t know and maybe never will. A thought just occured to me as I am typing this that just by chance the guard that received this might not have been on the rescue ship but could have been a guard at a POW prison camp where these men where located and that is where he got this, so any sinking before 24 July 1943 could fit...these might be men from different u-boats for all I know. Also the intials \"W.R.I.C.\" is in block stencil military form and this could be from a POW camp. Don\'t know...thanks for your responce and I will keep digging.
