<HTML>I have the U-boat Commanders Handbook, a very interesting document to say the least. Higher Command did seem to be slow in changing with the times. Radar was a long time coming, and many commanders thought the Enigma was compromised. \"Impossible\" was the response. Even if the Germans had positive proof that Enigma was compromised, they had no spare coding system to take its place.</HTML>
