The Odyssy of A U-Boat Commander Book

Does anyone one have any thoughts on why "The Odyssey of a U-Boat Commander" book by Erich Topp tends to cost over $100? I thought it might that it is an older out of print book, but it appears there are new printed copies. The Amazon Kindle version is only slightly cheaper.

Any comments would be appreciated.
