I had the same feeling about this bomb hit. In the movie it seems that a bomb hit U-96 just forward of the conning tower, blowing her main gun into pieces, tearing of her rigging and leaving sighns of the explosion on the conning tower front, but still no preasure hull damage, hm, that\'s a little bit odd.
After the attack, they had problems with the diving planes, (caused by the attack? I don\'t think that this is a very \"real\" thing to have happened), anyway, after that the boat hit the bottom at 270 meters.
But still it is and will be the very best U-boat movie ever.
