<HTML>have at last made a point of watch U-571 ow it is out on U.K. video shelves.
It is dire ... The Hollywood Hussars in full flight... not even a good adventure movie ... it resembls so many post war movies were te poor old Jerry is a fool whose mani point of being in the movie is to be shot up.
What was funny was the willingness of the American \"Kapitain\" to adopt fully the dress and white top of the U-Boat Skipper. ( A sincere form of flattery perhaps).
Best line goes to Harvey Kietel ( How did a great actor get mixed up in such a por movie , to earn a few dollars is the only reasonable answer that springs to mind.)
\"Everythings in German \" . Well fancy that can you almost hear \"Dougal\" from \"Father Ted \" answering \" You don\'t say Harvey ! Egits\"
The american officers really did believe in letting everyone in on the plan and what they must not let the Germans know.
Given the choice I would must rather watch \"The Cruel Sea\" or \"Ice Cold In Alex.\"

Really not worth watching. </HTML>
