I thought that i\'d contribute to this thread as i cannot get enough of it, voicing my opinions as to how ridiculous this movie was and also how ridiculous were the admirals that okayed it here in the States on Larry King Live. Yes, you heard me right. A couple of top brass US Navy admirals actually were going gaga over the supposedly \"seat arm gripping adventure\" and the authenticity of its portrayal of life aboard a sub culminating with the daring audacity of the geezers that hijacked it! Either these blokes were tripping on salt water snorted through a bong or they were tug-boat captains who had only escorted subs out of their pens into the open sea...
