<HTML>Right Steve, as is your posting below regarding history via the movies.
I disliked the movie because it is a bad movie.. poor plot etc, the U-boat relate faults are secondary to the whole thing.
Movies are about maiking money not about telling history.
For that one has to read - there is no short cut.
One gent I saw from the \"I.W.M.\" talking about \"Enemy at The Gates\" said that the best thing that would come from the movie would be that people who never thought about reading the history relating to Stalingrad would do so.
Same might be said about U-571.</HTML>
