British Film Industry...

<HTML>Unfortunately, such a thing won't happen. America dominates the really big budget film industry, plus the American cinema audience is much bigger that the British one, purely because American has a larger population.
If anyone was going to sink serious cash into a film venture like the big Hollywood studios do, then it'd have to be engineered for the American market to be really successful and make money. The American audience is the bread and butter of the film industry, that's where all the money is.
Sadly, this present arrangement means that the flow of American patriotism on celluloid will continue for the foreseeable future, as will all those films with nasty Englishmen as the main villain! After all, that's what appeals to the average American, so that's what they get.</HTML>
