Subtitles?

<HTML>The accurateness of subtitles are an interesting thing. In some DVDs the 'regular' English subtitles are approximate, and "English for the hearing impaired" show exactly everything that is said and include sound effects.

In the DVD version of John Grisham's The Client I have, the overdubbed German is naturally a bit modified to fit the lip movements, but the German subtitles are literal translations of the orginal English, not the spoken German subtitled.

The point is that your mileage may vary...
