<HTML>I must say that as a thriller, "Below" worked very well as a film. Aside from the WWII setting on a submarine, it's a classic locked haunted house film. My question is how accurate were the hooks that the German ship used. I'm not a real sub afficianado, but I've never heard of hooks and chains being used as ASW tools. I'd appreciate any confirmation of their use here. Thanks in advance!</HTML>
