Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

according to Der Spiegel 3/2005 from 2005-01-17 p. 153 a German film producer named Hoffmann is reported as to holding negotiations with an unnamed English counterpart to make a movie about the “Laconia Tragödie” (tragedy).

Mr. Hoffmann specialises in filming historical events such as the building of the tunnel underneath the Berlin Wall in the sixties were ca. 25 refugees managed to escape to the West. I saw this movie and was pretty accurate.
