Georg von Trapp was a submarine commander in WW I. In the movie "The Sound of Music" from 1965 with Julie Andrews & Christopher Plummer, in the part where Baron von Trapp gives a ball for the Baroness, he has a red & white ribbon around his neck with a silver cross (something like a Maltese cross) hanging from it. Is that the military award the Cross of Empress Maria Theresa ?
