DAS BOOT - FILM VERSION

Ladies and Gentlemen , good evening !
Just for fun, I would like to inform you that this evening, TV Channel called
"ARTE-La 5",which is a German/French joint venture, aired the film "Das Boot", original version released in 1981 in cinema.Certainly to take into account the fact that above-quoted channel is a joint venture, they had, in France, the rather strange idea to release the film half with french dialogs, half with german dialogs with french subtitles.Shall we laugh or cry , that's the question ?
