Hello I saw this movie when I was 9 or 10. The opening scenes of "The Brutality of War" the survivors being machine gunned in the water haunted me for some time when i was a kid.
I rooted for Peter to get the Bastards!! and I remembered Luis leaving at the last minute which bothered me greatly as a child.
I was drawn in by the intense camera close ups the determination of Peter so close to getting revenge on The U-Boat,for the loss of his mates.
I knew then as a child,I would feel the same way, as the character portrayed by Peter.He (Ironically...gets trapped by his own revenge)and I remembered the lesson... Cause & Effect.
Testosterone of many Countries caused WW1 a waste of early 20th Century advancements."Revenge" is what caused WW2, a pattern that we still repeat today! 911, Vietnam,Iraq etc. I remembered the movie a few days ago for some reason the music that Luis played over and over in the movie popped into my head?? after all these years... strange?? What was the Title /Artist?
