The seller informs me that they have been seen by a specialist from chiswick auctions in london (Tom Sampson) and have further been black light tested as original. He has offered a full refund still if I am still not satisfied.

Hi Jim, To be honest when I first saw them I had doubts having never come across this type of card like material before. However I think I tried to convince myself they were legit having spent money on them. Thank you for the offer but I will contact the seller myself today. Thanks again.

This is who I purchased them from. Some paid £50 each for some tiger tank photographs from the same archive.

I hear you but these are far from good quality. Furthermore, they show genuine signs of age and wear and tear. If you try to peel the photo a fake should come apart with relative ease. It looks like a devil type figure dropping fish but it really is just a guess. I shall attempt to get a high res copy uploaded soon. I have tried to match via uboataces.com but to no avail. I have a lar

Yes although I am not sure as to whether he was too embarrassed or just made a mistake on those rather complicated toilets. There is also evidence to suggest that the leak may have occured after running into wreckage. flooding of the forward section left him with no alternative other than to surface. U-1206 was subsequently bombed and the U-boat scuttled. 1 died, 3 drown and 46 were captured.

I have recently won 2 (of 5) original WWII u-boat photographs that were in the Russian military archives until the late 80's. Thankfully, they were listed as only as ww2 photo's otherwise I suspect they would have gone for more than the £15 each they fetched. Photo 1 Photo 2 Photo 3 Photo 4 Photo 5 I haven't the photographs in hand yet but I hope to get better pictu
