Canary Islands - Madeira
The first boat to be sunk here was the U-131 on 17 Dec, 1941. The last one to be sunk was the U-154 on 3 July, 1944.
U-167 was raised in 1951 and used comercially for filming, before finally being broken up. The story how its interned crew escaped back to France should not be missed.
U-135 is missing from this map, she lies to the northeast of U-167.
