Summary

This World War II feature highlights Canadian involvement in the Atlantic convoys. After losing his first ship to a U-boat's torpedo, skipper Scott observes the building of his new command as he prepares to set out once again into the dangerous Atlantic. The highly realistic action scenes are complemented by a plot twist in which one of the men to join the new corvette is the brother of Scott's sweetheart.

Notes

The inclusion of actual combat footage shot in the North Atlantic heightens the impact of this film.
