How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I say this because I never read it. This was purchased by me on behalf of a very good friend who is trying to trace a friend that was to go on this ship and she has been unable to find out if she was among the children from that orphanage. But from what I saw and have been told the story was a terrible disaster that should not have happened.

I was prompted to read this book after reading Hedys' Folly. The actress was moved to help the war effort after being in Liverpool at the time of this disaster. There appear to be no safe haven during this time. Wartime mind set makes this even more extraordinary.

I needed some facts about the "Benares" events. This is the book to go to, above all the others
