History Completed in February 1924 as Danish Egholm for Det Forenede D/S (DFDS), Copenhagen. 1940 taken over by Britain and transferred to the Ministry of War Transport (MoWT). 
Notes on event

On 25 Feb 1945 the Egholm (Master K.S. Kristensen) in convoy FS-1739 was torpedoed and sunk by U-2322 southeast of Holy Island. Two crew members and three gunners were lost. The master and 20 crew members landed in Tyne.
