I sent some photos of full size reconstructions of U boats which were used in the new U boat movie now on release in the US to this site (u boat net) I think there still here. When I was in the Med film studios the construction work shop had full size plans of a VII all over the walls. Im not sure where they got them but if you would like I can get the e mail addreass of the Film Studio manager so that we could ask him.

I think its a great idea to try to build a full sixe VIIC, why not, set up a pay website that showed weekly/monthly photos of the boat under construction to help cover the costs?
