sorry you misunderstood. Refer to Jerry's msge above. He mentioned a 1:96 Type IIVC static model with extended Wintergarten at a wonderful website. Well worth surfing! Not only the Uboat, but all the other stuff as well. They want just a little less than three grand for the sub. A little steep for me, but the quality is there.
I have not found either a :96 or :72 IXC yet. Perhaps we should look together and convince someone to start a little production line.
Hulls are the same. You get the long tower, snorkel more anti air. I get short tower 4.1" fwd deckgun and aft on deck the 3.7cm without splintershield. Who knows, perhaps others reading this will hop aboard and pretty soon we will be able to fully employ a shipyard.
