Hi Woody,
99 was "silent" Otto Kretschmers boat. For me U175 a IXC is a the only choice. I can live with :72 scale. Perhaps Jerry and others can come up with something.
By the way the model site here only mentions the various Combat Models in type IX, and you are not the only one who told me "hands off".
