U 47 (the wreck) has not yet been found..! The accepted version for
many years of the sinking of U47 was that she was D/C by the
destroyer HMS Wolverine. But, in later research suggests that
HMS Wolverine may have attacked U-boat U A and that U47 was
lost to an unknown cause...??? As I said before the wreck of Prien\'s
boat U 47 has never yedt been found ....
