Darnel XXI hull fixing / fellow modellers?

Hi all, Ive recently bought the very last kit Mr Darnel put together, its a type XXI, now owned by Metcalf's in the UK, Im also running a Robbe u47, anyway the XXI hull is fiber glass and comes in two halfs, what is the best way to hold the two 1/2s together, during operation, This will be my first build, it may take me a while but I cant see how to fix them, ideas ?, it will be a lovely static diving model when Im finished.

By the way Im looking to hook up with fellow modellers, if anyone is near me, maybe we can meet at the lake side, I go to Stanbough lakes, Welwyn in Herts, its not very deep (3ft-4ft) but better than nothing, I live in West London and sometimes visit my folkes in Herts. Also building a MTB that should notch up the knots, cheers
