According to Georg Högel ( English version ) U-302 Had a shield ( flat on top with a point at the bottom ) and inside that a view of a u-boat bow on with a standing polar bear looking to the left behind the boat . In his German version book he also lists the boat as having a cross with a bow on view of a viking boat under a full sail ( also found on u-307 ,312 etc . )
