Hi Clarence
Just a tip...drill out each end of the sea/flood vents and than use a small round file to finish off the shape of the vents...
You will noticed a big improvement on your Revell U-99 model if you do this on each side of the hull before you glue them together.?
Also use 2mm metal shafts rods to replace the plastic prop shafts...looks much better than the plastic ones in the kit.
U-99 was an early VIIB boat, her commander was KK Otto Kretschmer
The boat did 7 active war patrols and sunk 36 ships & damaged another 5 enemy ships during her service in the Germany Navy.
Regards Joe Brennan
P.s Hope the model tips will help..?
