Hi Jeff,
Seriously, you have (in my opinion) identified a market vacuum.
At 1:72 the models would be from abt 3' to 4.4' except for that I-400 monster. A nice size to show sufficient detail and still small enough to put into a display case on your bookshelf. They are still big enough for RC use
Other than the one model from Amati, the only other in this field was Combat Models, who stopped production and whose products were a joke as far as quality was concerned anyhow.
Contact Jeffrey LaRue of the Subcommittee. He will be able to set you up with any scale photo etched deck you might need.
