Hi Leif,
you are right, sofar the only ones I have seen are gas propelled with a valve at the stern end, which opens upon release in the tube. F Riccuchi of the SC makes a nice but pricey system in 1:40 scale for a Robbe U47 for about $600, all five tubes with torpedos loaded. Rgds, RB
