I am in the process of converting one to RC. The worst part is the rear planes and rudders, no much room to work here. I have my solution for the rear planes control but unfortunately it seems as if I can't attach images to the post.
I plan to use two 15 cm long, 5cm wide acrylic tubes as watertight cylinders or WTC, a plastic 250cc bottle for ballast tank and an automotive windshield washer, 12V electric pump. The bottle and the pump will be installed outside the WTCs (having sealed the pump with epoxy resin).
Everything connected with insulated wires and connectors. There's simply no room for a single long tube holding all the hardware.
