I have just finish completely redrawing the stern part of the hull of my drawing. I have used genuine U-boat measurement base on very precise U-boat plans. That I was very kindly given to me :). All the frames, ribbings, ‘frame plate holes’, hydrophone, rudder etc…...almost everything which it part of the hull has exact, wide, length and position base on the plans measurement. However, there were a few areas where the measurement don’t match the hand drawn plans. It must have been a nightmare for the draftsman to draw all the plans – I bet they would love a computer and a CAD program winking smiley
