Bridge & Wintergarten

Upper Wintergarten Platform.
The original double ready-use ammunition containers for the 2 cm guns on the Upper Wintergarten Platform, replace with a single container by the Royal Norwegian Navy.
Original bridge shelf is absent sometime after 1970’s refit.
Original Wind deflector is absent sometime after 1970’s refit.
FuMB - The original FuMB receptacle remove sometime after 1970’s refit.
Original Direction Finder Antenna Loop (late war style) is absent sometime after 1970’s refit.
Hull
Access point - Very stern of keel of the rudder support, wielded closed.
Floor plating - Exterior floor plating (raised dots) replace with diamond plate.
Magnetic compass fairing - The original fairing was the older style, replace with the late war fairing, sometime between 1958 and 1965.
Hull - Waterline mark 1 missing.

Schnorchel
Schnorchel head - Does not match original configuration.
Schnorchel air outlet piping - absent.
Schnorchel air inlet piping- absent.

Interior

Control Room
Original FuMO drive shaft absent.
Floor plating - Interior floor plating (rise ridges, in a box shape pattern) replace with diamond plate in the summer of 2009.
Sky periscope - Original sky periscope is absent and replace with a Type XXIII periscope.

Bow Torpedo
High Pressure Air bank 4 missing.
Torpedo Tube - Original torpedo tube III replace, probable exchange by the Norwegian Navy launch some 533mm post war torpedoes.
