Hello everyone,
I have decided to build my 1/72 IXC as the U-130 on her last patrol. (I have the same last name as the commander) However I can only find 1 photo of this particular boat. I would like to know it's configuration for the 13 day patrol ending on 12MAR43. I have a few reference books and the flood vent patterns match the U-505 although I haven't checked if the model itself matches the indicated pattern. I also have a number of pics of U505 from a visit to Chicago a couple years ago. Could/would anyone please tell me what the configuration was at that time. It arrived in Lorient after the 5th patrol on 30DEC42 and didn't set out for patrol #6 until 28FEB43, so there would have been ample time for major alterations. Is there an ultimate reference book that has all this information in it?
