thanks for your prompt (eagle-eyed!) reply.
Have you any idea of where either or both of these two guys may be now?
I imagine that you may have been quoting from a ship's company list of officers and that you would, therefore, not know. It would, of course, have been a help if I had known the name, but those were 'busy' days.
Don't read German, eh? Well you did very well so far, to have got the sense out of my request. I used German because I think that 'hard' information is more likely to emanate from German sources -- that is, those still on their perches.
