Als ehmaliges Bootsangehoeriger von U-862, war unser Boot das Einzige, das im Pazifik operiert hat, und zwar um
Tasmanien und Neuseeland. Wir waren ein Monsunboot mit
Stuetzpunkt in Singapur. Nachlesbar im Buch von Stevens:
