U-Boot vermisst vor England '45

Hallo.

Ich bin auf der Suche nach dem U-Boot, auf dem ein Verwandter von mir '45 gefahren ist (deutsches U-Boot). Das U-Boot wurde (nach Angaben meiner Großmutter), im Januar '45 als verschollen gemeldet.
Leider habe ich darüber nix gefunden, wenn mir jemand mit Recherchemöglichkeiten oder anders weiterhelfen kann, würde ich mich sehr freuen.
