U-boat Dinghy?

Does anyone have a description of the dingy carried aboard U-boats? I have seen a few photos of a small dinghy that was apparently used by U-boat crews. Also, I have read references to inflatable rafts used for transportation by U-boat crews. Apparently the German agents who came ashore in the States used inflatable rubber boats--but maybe these were carried just for this misson? Where was the dinghy stowed?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
